Do you even remember who I am?

Quick reminder – my name is Stephen and I write middle grade fantasy under the name S.A. Schneider. My first book in the Town Magician series, Embracing the Magic, has recently been re-released. You may also have some other stories I’ve written with Martin & James or even Oddish Questers. Maybe you read my Christmas ghost serial.

And for having to remind you who I am, I owe you the deepest apology. The last couple years have been a roller coaster ride for many of us, and it affected my personal and writing life.

I wanted to reach out and give you an update. I know it’s been awhile and things may have changed. If you no longer want to hear from me about my books or the educator resources, I get it. There is an unsubscribe at the bottom, just click and you’ll be removed and won’t hear from me again. Thank you for your past support and I wish you the best.

For everyone else, welcome back! I won’t take a ton of your time. I changed and released the 2nd Edition of Embracing the Magic in the Town Magician series. I am about 1/3 of the way through book 2 – Transgression of Magic – and its going along quite nicely. I’ve written and released some short stories in anthologies and a Christmas serial ghost story, along with the beginning of another serial that will lead to a full series – The Oddish Questors.

On my site there are multiple resources for teachers, educators, and parents so we can encourage your kids to write. I have taught a workshop on storytelling in video games and how kids can use their storytelling abilities for this type of career. Interviews, writing inspiration, publishing ideas for kids, etc.

You’ll also see that I have a podcast called Discovered Wordsmiths where I interview new authors. Not just kid books.

If you are still with me – great! This will be a great year and I look forward to more books (both to read and write) and working with more kids on writing and storytelling.

Feel free to send me a note about parent, teacher or educator resources that would be helpful to you. I’m always on the lookout for new ideas.
